Happy Victoria Day! Hope you have all been enjoying your extra-long weekend! The weather didn't fully cooperate but great to have some time to rest as we prepare for the sprint to the finish! Here is what you need to know for the upcoming week.
NEW INFORMATION
District Track and Field Meet: We have our district track meet coming up on June 5th. Students competed at our recent Howe Middle Track and Field Meet and those who qualified for Districts will be notified by teachers. There is a meeting on Tuesday for all these students to share information about the District Meet on June 5th. Congratulations to all our athletes who will represent our school!
Field Trips: As we go through the last six weeks of the year, there are lots of fields trips for classes. A reminder to parents to please ensure you are completing permission forms and payments using School Cash Online. Those without permission will not be able to attend. a
Upcoming Events: We have a busy time from now until the end of the school year. We have some major events coming up both at the grade and school-wide level along with many pod and classroom activities. Below is a list of the bigger events, but please be sure to read the communication from your child's classroom teacher about all the events and necessary permission forms:

Parent Engagement Survey: This year, we will again be surveying our parent community to get your thoughts and opinions on how things are going at Colleen and Gordie Howe Middle School. You can CLICK HERE to access the survey which is now open. The deadline is May 31st

PAC Meeting Dates: We have set our PAC meeting dates for the year so that families can plan ahead to attend. They will be held Tuesday mornings at 8:45am at the school. The dates are as follows:
